Dan Adamson, who is currently the Creative Director at Silver River, is to join Twofour as Director of Programmes.

Reporting to Twofour's Group Creative Director, Andrew MacKenzie, Adamson will oversee the company's current team of executive producers in a move that will see him relocate to Twofour's head office in the South West.

Since joining Silver River in 2005, Dan has been behind the Company's biggest hits including Grow Your Own Drugs, Cracking Antiques, Kevin McCloud's Grand Tour and I'm Running Sainsbury's. Prior to joining Silver River Adamson won a BAFTA for his work in the boardroom on the first two series of The Apprentice.

Twofour Broadcast Managing Director, Melanie Leach, said of the appointment: "Dan is an exceptional talent and we are delighted he has decided to join Twofour at such an exciting time in the company's development.
